Significance: The Trundle is not on the South Downs Way however it overlooks Chichester and the Isle of Wight. It has a history of prayer – in 1475 a chapel was built here where a priest would pray for the city to be delivered from deadly plagues.
Declaration: Break the stronghold of religion, especially over Chichester. Pray for unity as the local churches stand shoulder to shoulder. For freedom for the oppressed – break the chains of poverty and drug addiction and lack of hope.
Scripture: Luke 4. 18 – 19
